  • T-shirts and other apparel
  • Accessories
  • Wall art
  • Puzzles
  • And more

If you want to accept international orders, GearLaunch ships to many countries across the globe, include countries in Europe and North America.

GearLaunch doesn’t monitor designs for copyright and trademark issues. They trust that any designs you create for use on the platform are original creations. If your designs violate intellectual property laws, you may be subject to legal action.

Printing Technologies

With the GearLaunch platform, you’ll have access to three leading printing technologies: direct to garment (DTG), sublimation, and digital printing.

DTG is a type of digital printing that sprays ink directly into the fabric. Sublimation uses special paper, then transfers the image to the product with heat. They use digital printing technology for paper products. GearLaunch doesn’t offer embroidery or engraving services.

GearLaunch Pricing

There are no monthly fees to use GearLaunch, unless you choose to invest in the premium Shopify app at $4.99/month. The only thing you’ll pay is the base cost for the product you order.

Features

You do not need an online store to use GearLaunch. Anyone can use it to create products and place orders manually. It includes a mockup generator so you can show customers what the final product should look like.

GearLaunch does not offer design services. You can hire a graphic designer on a freelance platform like Fiverr or create your own designs with a tool like Canva.

GearLaunch uses a network of printers throughout the U.S. and Europe. This ensures they produce your orders at the production facility closest to your end customer. This results in a faster order turnaround time and happier customers.

Ecommerce Platform Integrations

While many POD fulfillment services integrate with most ecommerce platforms, GearLaunch only integrates with your Shopify account.

There’s a free version available in the Shopify App Store. If you want the premium version, you’ll pay $4.99/month. This is the only fee you’ll pay besides the product fees. You decide what to charge your customers for your print-on-demand products – so you’ll keep the rest as profit.

If you don’t have a Shopify store, you won’t be able to connect to your store for order automation. You’ll instead set up the platform on your own domain.

Marketplace Integrations

GearLaunch does not integrate with any marketplaces.

If you do not use the GearLaunch platform on your own domain or on Shopify, you won’t be able to use it. It doesn’t connect to Etsy, eBay, or Amazon, like some of the other POD companies out there.

GearLaunch Customer Service and Support

GearLaunch will provide customer service for any products they fulfill. If an order has items that were fulfilled with another company, they cannot help with those items.

Whenever your customer places an order, they will get tracking information. Tracking information may not always be available for international orders. Other companies leave you in charge of providing customer support. GearLaunch takes care of that for you.

Printful

Printful offers many of the same popular products as GearLaunch. While they provide high-quality products and services, the profit margin isn’t as high. The additional cost of the products means that you’ll earn less money with each item that you sell. However, because they do all the printing in-house, you’ll have consistent products – which is crucial for keeping your customers satisfied. If you’re looking for embroidery or engraving, then Printful is the way to go.

Printify

With Printify, you get a similar service as GearLaunch. The major difference is because you’ll be able to connect it to an existing storefront with WooCommerce, Shopify, or BigCommerce. It also integrates with ecommerce marketplaces, so you have more freedom and flexibility. Printify’s costs are low compared to Printful, so you’ll be able to keep more profit in your pocket.

Gelato

If you’re new to the POD world, you may find Gelato to be your best bet. It has a lot of presets meant to make things easier for brand new printers. The design tools are incredibly easy to use. And if you’re a data-lover, you’ll definitely enjoy the built-in analytics dashboard. That said, experimenting with the app before you really get started is difficult. You have to register, verify your email, then complete the sign-up process before you can even see what they offer.

Gooten

Gooten is another well-known POD company. Like GearLaunch, it has a Shopify app for easy integration. It offers over 140 products to choose from, including journals and notebooks, bags and totes, home decor, and wearables. You can’t choose your printing houses, though, so you may run into inconsistent quality issues. If you’re using something other than Shopify, WooCommerce, or Etsy, you won’t find a native integration. That means you’ll have to hire a developer to create one or look for another option.

COMPANY STEALS ARTWORK AND DEALS SHADILY

This company is honestly pathetic. I have read hundreds upon hundreds of reviews claiming they consistently steal others' artwork, and they've been doing this for years and years and years. They should be run out of business. Apparently they don't even print nicely, and the quality of their products is garbage. I myself ordered a shirt from them and even though it says it was "delivered", I never received anything. I've been fighting with them over a refund for about 6 weeks now. The only way I'll get one is if I sign a document stating I can be arrested if they find me guilty of anything at all. It's absolutely absurd. A company that defrauds and plagiarizes... You think you're getting me to sign literally anything??? Asinine. Never work with these people. Never buy from these people. They are scum.
